The prices of kerosene and diesel are set to rise starting today.
The Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission (FCCC) announced last night the new approved fuel and LPG prices that will take effect from August 1.
The FCCC stated that fuel prices in Fiji are influenced by changes in the Means of Platts Singapore (MOPS), international freight rates, and foreign exchange rates.
Here are the new prices effective from today:
– Motor Spirit: $2.87 from $2.91
– Premix: $2.71 from $2.74
– Kerosene: $1.95 from $1.91 (VAT exempt)
– Diesel: $2.52 from $2.50
– 12kg cylinder: $39.28 from $40.12 (VAT exempt)
– Autogas: $2.12 from $2.17
