Shreedhar Motors has unveiled the new Ford Territory, marking a strategic expansion of Ford’s automotive presence in Fiji. The launch illustrates the company’s commitment to meeting customer demand by introducing innovative models.

Arvin Narayan, the CEO of Shreedhar Motors, highlighted that the Ford Territory was chosen after a comprehensive evaluation at a dealer meeting in Thailand, where it was lauded for its suitability to the Fijian market. An initial shipment of 15 units recently arrived in Fiji, with plans for further deliveries in the following months. Notably, the first unit has already been sold.

Narayan emphasized the Ford Territory’s appealing attributes, including its high ground clearance, modern design, and advanced dashboard features. These aspects make it a competitive choice within the mid-size SUV segment, aiming to attract diverse consumers. He acknowledged the significance of corporate buyers like HFC Bank and ANZ, who contribute to Ford’s market share in the region.

In alignment with Ford’s ongoing strategy, Narayan noted the company’s success in the previous year, partially due to the introduction of next-generation models such as the Ranger and Everest. This momentum will continue with more product launches anticipated in the future, including potential releases planned for 2026.

This new introduction is a positive signal for the Fijian automotive market, promising increased choices for consumers and a potential boost to the local economy. By continuing to innovate and address customer needs, Shreedhar Motors and Ford are poised to play a crucial role in Fiji’s automotive landscape.
