The Digicel Fiji Young Kulas have completed their warm-up matches and are now preparing for the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup, where they will compete against formidable teams such as Brazil, France, and Canada.
Coach Angeline Chua emphasized the need for the team to enhance their defensive play and take advantage of scoring opportunities as they approach the tournament.
“Our focus will be on refining our defensive strategies, especially given the strength of the teams we will face,” Chua stated. “Simultaneously, we will practice capitalizing on any scoring chances. It’s going to be a challenging tournament, but we are prepared to give our best effort.”
