Team Fiji’s Chef de Mission, Josaia Tuinamata, known as ‘Master Joe’, shared an inspiring vision for their journey at the Pacific Mini Games in Palau, which took place recently. During a thanksgiving dinner at the Vodafone Arena, he lauded the team’s incredible achievements, emphasizing unity and collective effort with the mantra “One vision, one canoe, one Fiji.”

Tuinamata highlighted the outstanding performance of the athletes, who together earned a remarkable tally of 27 gold, 30 silver, and 24 bronze medals. He expressed gratitude for the dedication and hard work that led to such success, acknowledging the athletes’ sacrifices and spirited teamwork as they competed to represent their nation with pride and integrity.
