Fiji has secured its spot in the final of the 2024 OFC Women’s Futsal Nations Cup after triumphing over the Solomon Islands, the host nation, with a score of 6-2 in their final match held today in Honiara.
In this victory for the team led by coach Jerry Sam, Koleta Likuculacula made a significant contribution by scoring two goals, while Sofi Diyalowai, Cema Nasau, Sisilia Kuladina, and Aliza Hussein each added one goal to the tally.
Fiji is set to face New Zealand in the final on Sunday. Earlier today, New Zealand demonstrated their strength by defeating Tahiti 6-1 in their last match.
