The Agriculture Show 2025 is set to captivate audiences in Nadi tomorrow, with a focus on resilience, smart production, local initiatives, and the growth of agro-tourism. This year’s theme underscores the importance of sustainable farming practices and innovation while highlighting opportunities to bolster food security and expand agricultural tourism. The event is designed to foster a deeper understanding and connection to agriculture by featuring interactive exhibitions, live farming demonstrations, and a variety of displays showcasing fresh local produce. This initiative allows attendees to engage with industry experts and leaders within the agricultural sector, enhancing collaboration and knowledge sharing.

The Ministry will use this platform to present a range of initiatives, including irrigation and drainage projects, sustainable land-use strategies, and plans for export expansion. Climate change adaptation and food security measures will also be prominently featured. The show, set to take place at Koroivolu Park, will culminate on Friday this week.

In line with past national agriculture events, this year’s show aims to spotlight the significant role agriculture plays in Fiji’s food security and economic development. It promises hands-on experiences and networking opportunities with key stakeholders in the agricultural community. Participants will have the chance to explore innovative agribusiness concepts and engage in discussions aimed at fostering a more resilient and self-sufficient agricultural landscape.

Given the previous success of similar events, the 2025 show continues to build on a tradition of celebrating Fijian agricultural excellence. It aligns with Fiji’s strategic goals of strengthening food security and rural economic growth, encouraging a forward-looking perspective on the potential of local farming and agro-tourism ventures. Through a focus on collaboration, education, and innovation, the 2025 Agriculture Show positions itself as a catalyst for energizing local agriculture and reinforcing Fiji’s leadership in climate-smart agricultural practices.
