The Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s team concluded their campaign at the Singapore Sevens with a commendable sixth-place finish, following a closely contested match that ended in a 17–14 loss to France in the fifth-place play-off.
France established an early advantage, with Lou Noel and Alycia Christeans scoring two tries to hold a 12–7 lead at halftime. The Fijiana responded fiercely in the second half, highlighted by the impressive performance of Reapi Uluinasau, who showcased her strength by crossing the try line three times. Her third try came in the 11th minute, narrowing France’s lead to just three points at 14–17 and setting the stage for an exciting finale.
