The Vodafone Fiji Schoolboys U18 team achieved a second victory over their Australian rivals, winning 34-25 at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka. After suffering a 26-14 defeat last week, the Australian team aimed for redemption and started strong, taking an early 10-0 lead with a converted try and a penalty.
However, the Fijian side responded with impressive play, scoring three tries from Waisake Vakacere, Raymond Navunikaba, and Ratu Epeli Roseruvakula, along with a penalty kick from Isikeli Bari, to establish a 22-10 advantage by halftime.
In the second half, the Australian Schoolboys came back determined, scoring ten points to close the gap, but the Fijians remained resilient. Winger Nathan Stephens and Asaeli Gade added two more tries for Fiji, securing the series victory.
