The Fiji Police Force has confirmed that no stabbings occurred at Albert Park during last night’s concert. Assistant Commissioner of Police – Operations, Livai Driu, stated that officers were present at the venue from early evening until the event concluded. As of this morning, the police have not received any reports of a stabbing.
Driu mentioned that a social media post circulating allegations of a stabbing led officers to verify the claims, and they have confirmed that no such incident occurred, nor was there any situation requiring police intervention. The public is encouraged to report any issues directly to the police, as unfounded claims can lead to unnecessary panic and distress.
