The Fiji Water Flying Fijians have secured their place in the final of the Asahi Super Dry Pacific Nations Cup after defeating the USA Eagles 22-3 in a challenging semi-final match last night. Elia Canakaivata, playing as No.8, was the star of the game, scoring two tries, while halfback Frank Lomani added another.
Caleb Muntz also played a crucial role by successfully converting two penalties, ensuring Fiji’s advancement to the final. The USA Eagles displayed a strong defensive performance, exerting pressure on the Fijian team for much of the match. However, their only score came from a penalty successfully converted by flyhalf Chris Matina in the first half.
