Kitione Kautoga, a player for the Fiji Bati, has been granted an immediate release from his contract with the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs. The club and Kautoga reached an agreement that allows him to seek opportunities with other teams in the NRL.

In an official statement, the Bulldogs acknowledged Kautoga’s positive contributions to the team, both on and off the field. He played in two first-grade matches in 2024, and the club expressed gratitude for his hard work and dedication during his time at Belmore. The Bulldogs extended their best wishes to Kautoga and his family as he embarks on this new chapter.

Originally, Kautoga was under contract with the Bulldogs until the conclusion of the 2025 season. His early release presents him with new opportunities for growth and success within the league.

This development reflects a competitive spirit in the NRL, where players are frequently seeking the best fits for their careers. It’s a hopeful moment for Kautoga, as he can now pursue a situation that may better align with his goals.
