Excitement Builds for Coral Coast 7s Kickoff this Thursday!

The 2025 McDonald’s Coral Coast 7s tournament is set to begin this Thursday in Sigatoka, bringing together an exciting mix of women’s and men’s competitions over three days. The event will launch with the women’s match featuring the Pacific Nomads Women facing the Blue Gas Liliam Amazon at 8:30 AM.

The men’s pool games will kick off at 10:20 AM, showcasing a series of thrilling matchups. Notably, Manu Samoa 7s will go head-to-head against Bula Bay 7s, followed by Ratu Filise taking on the Lavidi Brothers at 10:38 AM, and the Seattle Barbarians going against Drua 7s at 10:56 AM. The renowned New Zealand 7s team, coached by Tomasi Cama, will wrap up the morning’s games with a match against the Colo West Highlanders at 11:14 AM.

One of the key highlights this year is that entry to the Coral Coast 7s will be free for all three days, aiming to enhance community participation and support for the teams. The finals for all grades are scheduled for Saturday, promising an exhilarating climax to the tournament.
