The Ministry of Education has recently provided essential library resources to Vudibasoga Catholic School and Nabala Secondary School, aiming to enhance students’ access to reading materials and study aids. This initiative was led by Minister Aseri Radrodro during his official school visits in the Northern Division.

At Vudibasoga Catholic School, the Minister donated 100 books along with a table and four chairs. Meanwhile, Nabala Secondary School received 150 books and a financial contribution to bolster its library facilities. During these visits, Minister Radrodro engaged with school personnel, students, and local community members to gain insight into their needs, emphasizing the Ministry’s commitment to supporting education throughout the region.

This initiative is part of the Coalition Government’s broader commitment to improving educational resources and learning environments across Fiji. Such efforts resonate with the ongoing focus on education highlighted in recent engagements with other schools, such as his earlier visits to Vanuabalavu, where similar donations helped address critical educational challenges faced by remote communities and the establishment of programs aimed at enhancing literacy and numeracy rates.

The Minister’s proactive approach underscores not just the importance of academic resources but also the value of community involvement in fostering a conducive educational atmosphere. These contributions signify hope and progress toward improving educational access and quality for all students in Fiji.

Through these initiatives, the government emphasizes its dedication to ensuring that educational opportunities are equitable, regardless of geographical challenges. This commitment lays the groundwork for a brighter future for students across the nation.
