Driving Change: BRED Bank Teams Up with NIA for Hassle-Free Motor Insurance in Fiji

BRED Bank (Fiji) Pte Limited has partnered with New India Assurance Co Ltd (NIA) to provide motor vehicle insurance solutions for customers in Fiji through its branches. This collaboration aims to simplify the insurance purchasing process, allowing BRED Bank clients to acquire motor vehicle insurance backed by Fiji’s largest general insurer.

CEO of BRED Bank, Pierre Tastet, highlighted the partnership’s objective of creating a one-stop-shop service that protects customers’ hard-earned assets. The deal underscores the mutual commitment of both institutions to enhance customer experience and streamline banking and insurance services.

Madhu Elayath, Chief Operating Officer at NIA, emphasized the long-standing relationship his company has with the Fijian market since 1949, bringing decades of experience into this partnership. He noted that NIA has been a market leader in non-life insurance for over 50 years, with substantial underwriting success in Fiji.

This collaboration reflects a positive trend in strengthening financial services in Fiji, where institutions are aligning strategically to provide more integrated solutions to customers. With both BRED Bank and NIA focusing on enhancing everyday banking and insurance experiences, customers can expect improved service quality. The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding at NIA’s head office in Suva further solidifies this beneficial partnership.

As Fiji continues to develop its financial landscape, this partnership promises to contribute to both individual and collective economic resilience, empowering customers with greater access to necessary services.
