President Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu emphasized the essence of Christmas as a season dedicated to sharing and caring for one another. He highlighted the significance of this period, urging individuals to support and look out for each other.

During a visit from the Wainamako Circuit Methodist Youth Fellowship at the State House, where they performed Christmas carols, Ratu Naiqama reflected on the birth of Jesus as a reminder of our responsibility to care for those around us. He noted that singing carols serves as a meaningful way to preach and spread the message of Christ’s birth.

“Jesus was born for us to live,” he stated, expressing gratitude to the group for choosing to share the Christmas gospel through their joyful singing at the State House.

This message of unity and care during the holiday season is hopeful and serves as a reminder of the core values of community and compassion. As we embrace these ideals, we can foster a spirit of togetherness and support that transcends the holiday itself, promoting a lasting impact in our communities throughout the year.
