Lelean Memorial School and Adi Cakobau School (ACS) have emerged as leaders in their respective divisions following the first day of the Triple N Zone Athletics competition at HFC Bank Stadium in Suva. Lelean captured the spotlight in the boys’ division, earning a total of nine gold, nine silver, and seven bronze medals, while defending champions Nakasi High School trailed closely with six gold, four silver, and six bronze medals, finishing in second place. Sila Central School rounded out the top three with a commendable six gold, two silver, and three bronze medals.
In the girls’ division, ACS secured a formidable lead with an impressive tally of 15 gold, 13 silver, and 14 bronze medals. Naitasiri High School placed second, having earned three gold, two silver, and two bronze medals, while Lomaivuna High School followed in third with two gold and two silver medals.
