Age is Just a Number: 72-Year-Old Graduate Achieves Lifelong Dream

Divendra Prasad Sharma, a 72-year-old, achieved his lifelong dream of graduating from university yesterday. Inspired during the University of the South Pacific (USP) Laucala Campus Orientation week earlier this year, Mr. Sharma decided to pursue higher education. As the eldest of nine siblings, he is the first in his family to earn a university degree. He received a Certificate IV in Counseling from the USP Pacific Technical and Further Education.
