The South Pacific Senior Official Government Meeting has officially begun, with the Fijian government assuming leadership under the chairmanship of Meli Nacuva, the Permanent Secretary for Youth and Sports.
Attendees include Chief Executive Officers from various South Pacific nations, Permanent Secretaries, the Chairperson of the Pacific Youth Council, senior officials, government representatives, and youth representatives.
The meeting is co-chaired by Mahoney Mori, Chair of the Pacific Youth Council. Its primary goal is to tackle significant issues and challenges faced by the youth in the Pacific region while promoting collaboration and cooperation among the South Pacific nations.
This three-day meeting is set to conclude on Thursday, August 15.
