Litia Taga, Tobeye’s mother and a long-time advocate for the foundation, highlighted how this endeavor not only raised funds but also increased awareness for the cause. The family’s experience with the Great WOWS Walk in 2020 inspired Tobeye’s initiative this year.

Despite facing health challenges mid-walk, the family’s resolve did not waver, and after a brief recovery period, Taga resumed his efforts, ultimately exceeding his initial fundraising goal of $2,000 by raising more than double that amount. He expressed heartfelt gratitude, encouraging peers to support children with cancer.
Mere Williams, the operations manager at WOWS Kids, commended the Taga family for their unwavering support and extended an invitation to the community to participate in future fundraisers in 2025.
