The Acting Education Minister, Alitia Bainivalu, along with Assistant Minister Iliesa Vanawalu, extended their best wishes to Year 8 students as they prepare for their External Examinations.
Ms. Bainivalu acknowledged that preparing for exams can bring mixed feelings of emotion, excitement, and anticipation. She urged Year 8 students to trust in their studies and reminded them that these exams are just one segment of their educational journey.
The Acting Minister also called on parents, guardians, and teachers to provide essential support to help students maintain focus during the examination period.
A total of 19,359 Year 8 students are registered to take the “Fiji Year 8 Examination” at 717 centers nationwide, starting today and continuing until Thursday, September 26. This year’s exams also feature two new exam centers.
