Wyndham Hotels & Resorts to Expand in Fiji

The Wyndham Hotels & Resorts network is experiencing notable growth in Fiji, according to Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Vice-President of Development-South East Asia & Pacific Rim, Matt Holmes.

Speaking in Nadi during the announcement of ‘Days Inn by Wyndham Nadi, Martintar’, a $50 million, 101-room hotel project in partnership with the Public Service Association Investment Company Pte Ltd (PSAICFPL) and Cove Management Ltd, Holmes expressed his enthusiasm for the expansion. Construction for the project is expected to start next year.

“I am so excited to say that the network for Wyndham Hotel & Resorts is growing really nicely in this beautiful country,” Holmes stated.

Globally, the Wyndham group operates over 9,200 hotels, including approximately 1,500 ‘Days Inn by Wyndham’ properties. This upcoming hotel will be the first ‘Days Inn by Wyndham’ in the South Pacific.

“We are thrilled to launch this globally-recognised brand in this beautiful country,” he added.

Holmes highlighted that the design of the new hotel would set a high standard for ‘Days Inn by Wyndham’ in the region. “The design looks great, the location is amazing, and we couldn’t be more excited to partner in this process,” he said.

He also acknowledged the collaboration with Cove Management Limited for managing the property upon its completion and expressed gratitude to PSAICFPL for their confidence in the project.
