A tragic motor vehicle accident in Wailekutu claimed the life of a 32-year-old man on Wednesday night. Authorities reported that the victim was riding his motorcycle toward Suva when a vehicle, driven by a 36-year-old man, allegedly made a sudden U-turn, leading to a collision.
The crash occurred shortly after 10 p.m., prompting immediate medical assistance. Despite being rushed to the Colonial War Memorial Hospital, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead upon arrival.
