Vodafone Fiji and Waste Recyclers Fiji Limited have launched a program called “I Recycle,” aimed at maintaining cleanliness and health in the country. This initiative reflects Vodafone Fiji’s commitment to decreasing its environmental impact and promoting sustainable waste management practices.

During the program’s launch at the company’s headquarters in Suva, Vodafone Fiji’s acting CEO Rajnesh Prasad discussed the goals of this partnership. “Through this collaboration, we aspire to foster a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable Fiji, beginning with our head office in Tamavua,” stated Mr. Prasad. He emphasized that working with Waste Recyclers Fiji Limited not only supports local waste management initiatives but also encourages a sense of responsibility and community among their employees and customers.

Amitesh Deo, founder of the Pacific Recycling Foundation, expressed that this program paves the way for increased business participation in sustainable waste management and illustrates how collective efforts can lead to meaningful environmental and societal advancements.
