Asco Motors Fiji has launched Vision 2030, a five-year framework unveiled at its Nabua showroom this week to steer the company’s growth from 2025 to 2030. The Vision 2030 is framed not as a single milestone but as the start of a transformative era built on collaboration, innovation and a shared commitment to excellence.

Ronald Kumar, the chief executive officer of Asco Motors Fiji, described Vision 2030 as more than just a business plan. “We are building more than a business, we are building a community of thinkers, doers and leaders,” Kumar said, adding that “our future is built by our people.” He emphasized that the initiative was shaped from the outset by insights and aspirations of Asco Motors Fiji staff, whose contributions were instrumental in shaping the launch. The emphasis on a people-first approach remains central to the strategy, aiming to leverage the workforce’s talent, dedication and ingenuity to meet tomorrow’s challenges and lead the local motor vehicle industry forward.

The Vision 2030 framework also commits to broader community impact, with initiatives designed to strengthen local partnerships, support sustainable development, and promote inclusive growth. Akira Shida, managing director of the Asco Motors’ parent company Toyota Tsusho South Seas Limited, described Vision 2030 as a reflection of Asco’s collective ambition. “It’s not just a strategy, it’s a shared promise to build a future that is safer, smarter and more sustainable for everyone,” Shida said. The plan is intended to reinforce Asco’s operations, empower its workforce and elevate the Asco brand across the South Sea region.

The launch underscores Asco Motors Fiji’s ongoing strategy to integrate corporate performance with community and regional development. The new framework complements the company’s broader track record of engagement, including recent collaborations with the Insurance Association of Fiji and various CSR initiatives aimed at youth and sport development, such as partnerships and donations that have supported local communities and programs.

Asco Motors Fiji operates within a broader corporate structure led by Toyota Tsusho South Seas Limited, and leadership signals that Vision 2030 will align with the group’s long-term objectives in the Fiji market and the wider South Sea region. The initiative is expected to guide investments in people, technology, and partnerships while enhancing safety, sustainability and the customer experience.

In summary, Vision 2030 signals a forward-looking, community-centered growth path for Asco Motors Fiji, backed by senior leadership and a proven commitment to local development. The framework positions the company to strengthen operations, empower employees, and elevate its regional presence in the coming years, with an optimistic outlook for jobs, innovation and sustainable progress in Fiji’s automotive sector. If executed well, the strategy could reinforce positive momentum across the industry and the communities it serves.
