Varun Karan has confirmed his resignation as the head coach of Nadroga Stallions in order to focus more on his family and career. Kamal Swamy, the former Nadi coach and technical adviser of Nadroga, will be succeeding him.

The confirmation came in an interview with FijiLive where Karan explained the complications associated with managing his coaching responsibilities along with his personal obligations.

Karan, during the interview, acknowledged that the Fiji FACT was his final tournament with the team. He admitted that, given his full-time work and family responsibilities, the logistics of commuting from Nadi to serve the team’s needs had become challenging.

Though he mentioned that he might consider a return to coaching in the future, currently his focus is pointed towards his family and career.
