The Coalition Government has earmarked $2 million in the 2024-2025 Budget for the finalization of Govind Park in Ba. The objective of this funding is to reestablish the venue as a center for tournaments and community events, which the locals of Ba have been missing for the past six years.
Last year, Deputy Prime Minister Biman Prasad blasted the administrators of the Govind Park initiative, describing it as a catastrophe because of poor supervision and management. He stressed the importance of a comprehensive inquiry into the project’s implementation.
