The decisive moment came in the 35th minute when Javier Mariona converted a penalty, giving the Americans the lead.
Coached by Josaia Bukalidi, the NZFFI Auckland All Stars, despite fielding a strong lineup that included national representatives Gabriel Matanisiga and Mohammed Raheem along with several experienced players, struggled to penetrate the disciplined and resolute USA All Stars defense.
