Members of the public are reminded that the deadline to upgrade their eTransport cards is approaching on **Monday, July 15, 2025**. Authorities are urging cardholders to take action soon and visit various upgrade locations available nationwide, which include both permanent and pop-up sites open throughout the weekend and the following week.

These upgrade centers are equipped to provide special seating for the elderly and offer faster service queues, ensuring a smoother experience for all users.

**Upgrade Locations and Operating Hours:**

The following locations are set to assist cardholders in the upgrade process:

– **Suva Ivi Triangle, Suva:** Mon–Sat: 8am–5pm, Sunday: 9am–3pm
– **Suva Bus Stand, Suva:** Mon–Sat: 8am–5pm, Sunday: 9am–3pm
– **Valelevu LTA, Valelevu:** Mon–Fri: 9am–4pm, Closed on Sunday
– Additional locations across Nausori, Ba, Lautoka, Nadi, and other areas are listed with varying hours.

**Special Pop-Up Locations This Weekend Only:**

For this weekend, there will also be special pop-up locations in the Northern region, including Petero Gasau Supermarket in Nabouwalu and Gopi Shop in Wailevu, among others.

**Benefits of the New Card:**

The new eTransport card features several benefits aimed at enhancing user experience, such as:
– Convenient mobile top-ups through the eTransport App
– Access to balance checks, fare history, and ticket viewing on smartphones
– Immediate balance redemption on the bus itself
– Streamlined boarding process

**Card Issuance & Replacement Guidelines:**

– First-time registrations and first replacements are free of charge.
– Upgrading the card is free if only two cards are registered under the user’s name.
– If more than two cards are registered, a $3 fee applies for each additional card.

**Balance Transfers:**

It’s necessary for cardholders to present their old card for an immediate balance transfer to the new card during the upgrade process.

The complete set of requirements, card types, and documentation needed for upgrades includes valid photo IDs for adults, school letters for students, and corresponding IDs for social welfare cards.
