Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka has urged students at Fiji National University to pursue high-quality education to adapt to societal changes and attain success. During his visit to the Nasinu Campus, Rabuka highlighted the crucial role of education in shaping the future of the youth.
“You are in an institution of learning, guided by those who have experience in this journey. Change is a part of life. There is always a way to recover; do not lose hope, keep striving and graduate,” PM Rabuka advised the students. He encouraged them with the message, “Keep going; you can do it. The sky isn’t your limit; instead, the heavens are.”
The Prime Minister was welcomed with a traditional ceremony organized by university staff, followed by a presentation from Vice Chancellor Professor Unaisi Nabobo-Baba. Professor Baba expressed the university’s appreciation and reaffirmed its dedication to enhancing higher education in Fiji.
“We promise that FNU will support you and shape a future aligned with the Fijian Government’s vision. At FNU, we will align with the Fiji Government’s National Development Plan,” Professor Baba stated to the Prime Minister. “FNU is committed to following the direction the Government is taking.”
