Uncertainty Looms over Acting Director of Public Prosecutions Following Supreme Court Ruling

After the Supreme Court declared him ineligible to hold his position, it remains uncertain whether the acting Director of Public Prosecutions, John Rabuku, will keep his job or be dismissed. Attorney-General Graham Leung has explained that the matter lays with the Judicial Services Commission (JSC), a Constitutional body that operates independently. Despite inquiries being directed to the acting Chief Justice and JSC chair, Salesi Temo, no response has been provided so far.
