The New South Wales Police Force is seeking public assistance to find two teenage girls missing from Sydney’s south west. Eleni Baleinadi, 13, and her sister Sera Baleinadi, 11, were last seen together at their home on The Avenue in Yagoona around 10 PM on Monday, 26 January 2026.

The Bankstown Police Area Command has been informed about their disappearance and has started an investigation to locate them. Concerns for the girls’ safety have been raised by both police and their family, given their young ages.

Eleni and Sera are described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori descent, approximately 160 centimeters tall and of medium build. Eleni has long black hair with yellow streaks, while Sera has long brown hair. At the time of their disappearance, Eleni was wearing a green top and a green skirt, while Sera was last seen in a black shirt and pink tights.

Authorities believe the girls may be in the Sydney CBD, as well as the Woodbine and Leumeah areas. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Eleni or Sera Baleinadi is encouraged to contact Bankstown Police or Crime Stoppers at 1800 333 000.

The community’s involvement is crucial in such cases, and there is hope that with increased awareness, the safe return of the girls can be achieved quickly.
