Tragic Fire Rescue Attempt Ends in Death

A 69-year-old man from Navoli, Rang Nadan Naicker, has died from injuries sustained while attempting to extinguish a cane fire in Ba. According to his brother, Gopal Naicker, the incident occurred on September 3. Police spokeswoman Ana Naisoro confirmed that Mr. Naicker suffered burns while trying to tackle the fire with a tractor. After being admitted to the Burns Ward of Ba Aspen Hospital, he later succumbed to his injuries.
