Five men avoided serious injuries in a truck accident on Queens Road near Emuri in Sigatoka yesterday. According to Senior Superintendent of Police Mitieli Divuana, one driver reportedly lost control of his truck, causing it to cross into oncoming traffic and collide head-on with another vehicle. The second truck was being driven by a 44-year-old man who had three passengers with him at the time. Both drivers remain hospitalized at Lautoka Hospital, while the three passengers have been treated and released. Fortunately, the police confirmed that there were no fatalities in the incident.
