A tragic accident occurred on Monday night in Naduna, Labasa, resulting in the death of 16-year-old Shalvin Lal from Tuatua, Labasa. Lal had left his home around 12:30 PM to pick up a relative when the unfortunate incident took place. Reports suggest that he was driving at a high speed, lost control of the vehicle, and veered off the road, subsequently crashing into a culvert.
Emergency services reported that Lal died at the scene, and he was later discovered by the relative he intended to meet.
