A tragic accident has claimed the life of a 62-year-old man from Sigatoka. Authorities reported that the incident occurred around 1 am today when the man was driving on Queens Road at Koromumu. For reasons yet to be determined, his vehicle veered off the road and collided with railings.
A passing driver noticed the vehicle and stopped to investigate, only to find the man unresponsive. Emergency services were alerted, and he was transported to Sigatoka Hospital, where he was sadly pronounced dead upon arrival.
