“I was out for six months due to my injury, but through God’s providence, I’ve recovered, and it’s been a call to work on my fitness,” Tanivanuakula stated. He made his national team debut at the Dubai 7s in 2024 and is keen to re-establish his impact on the field. His parents play a crucial role in his journey, serving as his biggest motivators, constantly encouraging him in his sport.

He brings experience to the team, having won the Coral Coast Fiji 7s tournament twice while representing the Army and Fiji Blues. As the Fiji team gears up for the Singapore 7s, Tanivanuakula highlights the importance of improving communication and defense, which are pivotal for their success.
“Our preparation has been good, and we’re working to improve in several areas, such as communication and defense. Getting to represent my country again will be an honor, and I will give my 100 percent on the field,” he said.
