The Sky Blues, who ended the season with 12 points, needed to secure a win against Lautoka in their final match today to avoid relegation. However, a 2-1 loss proved detrimental, as the bottom-placed Nasinu managed to defeat Nadroga 3-1 and escaped relegation, finishing the season in ninth place with 15 points. Tavua will take Tailevu Naitasiri’s spot in the Premier Division.
