Suva Football Club President Nitin Singh expressed his pride in the team’s commendable performance against Labasa in the 16th round of the Extra Premier League at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva on Sunday. Despite being in a challenging position with five players absent due to their commitments with the national futsal team, Suva managed to hold Labasa to a 1-1 draw.
Labasa initially took the lead in the first half thanks to a goal from Christopher Wasasala. However, Suva found their equalizer through Remueru Takiate, who converted a penalty after Ravinesh Karan Singh was fouled in the box.
