Daily commuters in Suva are set to enjoy an enhanced experience thanks to significant improvements made at the Suva bus stand, as detailed in a recent release from the Fiji Roads Authority (FRA). In collaboration with the Suva City Council (SCC), the upgrading project involved vital pavement repairs, jetting work to clear obstructions, and measures to ensure effective water runoff.
The FRA emphasized that these enhancements are critical in preventing stagnant water accumulation, which can damage pavements and negatively affect the commuter experience. Following successful resolution of drainage issues, the project is poised to move into extensive pavement works.
