The semi-final matches for the 70th Fiji Gujarati Sports Association Tournament are set to take place today at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva. The first semi-final will see Lami 3 clash with Suva at 9 AM, followed by a match between Lami 1 and New Zealand United at 10:30 AM.

This year’s tournament has brought together 90 overseas-based players and 70 local players over three days of competition. Sanjay Patel, the association’s president, expressed satisfaction with the tournament’s organization, noting that aside from favorable weather, everything has progressed smoothly. He encouraged football fans to attend the matches to witness the actions of the skilled teams.

The tournament has already highlighted strong performances, particularly from teams like Lami 3, which is looking to leverage its momentum as it heads into the semi-finals. Prior matches featured Lami 3’s remarkable victory against Lami 1, showcasing their competitive spirit and determination.
