COURTS CyberCity has officially launched SolarCity at its Nakasi branch, marking a significant step towards promoting sustainable and accessible solar energy solutions across Fiji. The initiative aims to provide high-quality solar products at affordable prices, making it easier for homes and businesses to embrace solar energy. According to Courts, “SolarCity represents a bold step forward in promoting clean energy.”

The product range available through SolarCity is designed to cater to various energy needs, from basic lighting to complete home systems and solar-powered entertainment. Cyber City’s senior retail manager, Prem Singh, noted the growing customer interest in solar technologies during the launch event. He emphasized the company’s commitment to making technology accessible to everyone, especially for those lacking reliable electricity access or those living in areas prone to power outages.

The new arm includes options for DIY solar solutions, allowing customers to easily integrate solar power into their homes. For those seeking to fully transition to solar energy, the Vision Energy division offers complete systems that can eliminate reliance on the grid.

Initially, SolarCity will showcase products from two well-known solar brands, Sunking and Luminous, and will be available across all five Cyber City branches located in Suva, Lautoka, and Labasa.

The launch aligns with a growing trend in Fiji, where a recent survey indicated that nearly 70% of households expressed a willingness to invest in solar technology. This initiative is a beacon of hope for sustainable energy efforts, especially in off-grid communities struggling with energy access. The launch not only broadens the market for solar energy in Fiji but also showcases actionable steps in meeting the nation’s renewable energy targets amid rising energy demands.

The fact that Courts CyberCity is giving attention to solar products aligns well with broader national objectives of clean energy promotion. It reflects a changing perspective among Fijian households towards renewable solutions, highlighting a community eager to embrace sustainable energy practices.

This initiative indeed brings hope for a future where renewable energy becomes more mainstream and accessible, potentially transforming Fijian communities and contributing to a greener tomorrow.
