Shop N Save Supermarket has announced the extension of its Naming Rights sponsorship for the Super Rugby Pacific until the 2025 season. This move ensures that the competition will continue to bear their name in Fiji, following a successful partnership in the previous year.

Executive Director Nisheel Kisun emphasized the value of supporting rugby, particularly at an international level, highlighting the insights gained into what is regarded as Fiji’s most cherished sport. “We have seen the positive impact of having our own Fijian Drua’s participation in the competition,” Kisun stated, acknowledging the widespread popularity of Super Rugby Pacific among Fijians of all ages and backgrounds.

Kisun expressed enthusiasm about continuing their partnership with the Fijian Drua, aiming to provide local fans with the enjoyment of international rugby competitions. “As we continue our partnership with the Drua, we are delighted to be able to do the same for the competition in Fiji, ensuring that Fijians continue to enjoy having teams over to play,” he added.

Mark Evans, the Chief Executive of the Drua, praised Shop N Save for their unwavering support. He noted that the profile of the Super Rugby competition has significantly increased in Fiji over the past three years. “Their support is what enables the competition to be played in our territory,” Evans remarked. He expressed gratitude for Shop N Save’s commitment to both the Drua and the competition, underscoring their connection to the passions of the Fijian people.

The continued collaboration between Shop N Save and Super Rugby Pacific represents a positive development for rugby in Fiji, promising to enhance the sporting experience for fans and fostering a deeper connection with the sport.
