Weather Report Alert!
Brought to you with a sprinkle of humor from the National Weather Forecasting Centre in Nadi at 5:30 am on this fine (but slightly gloomy) July 25, 2025.

What’s the weather gossip today? A charming southeast wind is sweeping over the islands, and we’re about to welcome a low-pressure trough to our party. So grab your umbrellas, folks, it’s time for some rain!

Forecast until midnight:
Prepare for occasional showers followed by some intensive downpours in Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri, and Ra. Watch out for localised heavy rainfall, as it could unexpectedly turn your neighborhoods into mini swimming pools—don’t forget your floaties! Meanwhile, for our friends in Kadavu and its smaller island pals, as well as the Lau and Lomaiviti groups and the southern parts of Bua and Cakaudrove, expect some cloud action with a chance of showers. If you’re elsewhere, you might find the sun throwing a party while it’s mostly fine and dandy. Just remember, it gets a bit nippy at night—grab your snuggly blankets!

Windy business: We’re looking at moderate to fresh southeast winds and, for all you sailors out there, prepare for some rough seas.

Saturday’s Forecast:
The same routine: showers and potential downpours are coming back to Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri, and Ra. For Kadavu and its entourage, expect some cloudy periods with the occasional splash of rain. Outside of these areas, the weather is playing it cool—mostly fine and pleasant.
