Hold on to your umbrellas, folks! We have a **SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING** for heavy rainfall in some of our favorite spots! Get ready for the skies to unleash their fury over the interior parts of Viti Levu, covering the scenic Sigatoka trough all the way to vibrant Suva, and reaching up to the breezy Korovou. Not to be left out, our friends in interior parts of Vanua Levu, as well as the southern regions (like the ever-charming Savusavu), better prepare for a weather show of epic proportions!

What’s brewing in the atmosphere? A cheeky north to northeast wind is currently gracing us with its presence, while a rather moody trough of low pressure is ambling its way toward our shores. Don’t worry; it’s just here to direct some moist northwesterly winds our way—think of it as the weather’s version of a warm hug!

Looking ahead until midnight tomorrow, here’s the scoop:
For the interior regions (Viti Levu, Sigatoka, Suva, up to Korovou, and those lovely parts of Vanua Levu), we can expect a splendid start to the day—until thunderstorm drama takes center stage in the afternoon or evening. Buckle up, because localised heavy downpours might turn our peaceful low-lying areas into temporary swimming pools!

Meanwhile, on the Lau and Lomaiviti groups, expect a bit of clouding over with a side of the occasional shower and maybe a thunderstorm to spice things up. The rest of the islands will experience some sun but not without a chance of a rogue afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm—nature loves to keep us guessing!

Keep your eyes peeled for rain rolling in from the west later tomorrow, gradually making its way around Fiji, as those moderate north to northeast winds get ready for a costume change to northwest. Meanwhile, the sea may get a bit rowdy: moderate to rough waves are anticipated ahead.

Now, let’s peek into the weather crystal ball for Friday:

– **Western Division, Macuata and Northern Bua province, Kadavu, Lau, and Lomaiviti groups**: Prepare for occasional rain and the possibility of isolated heavy falls—like a surprise party, but wetter!
– **Elsewhere**: Expect mostly cloudy skies with afternoon or evening showers and those cheeky thunderstorms trying to steal the limelight. Just a heads up—things could get splashy, leading to the risk of flash flooding so take care in flood-prone areas!

Specific city forecasts:
– **Navua / Suva / Nausori**: Enjoy the fine weather while you can, because severe thunderstorms will crash the party in the afternoon or evening. Bring your floaties!
– **Nadi / Lautoka / Ba**: Looks fine with only the potential for those sneaky afternoon or evening showers—better keep an eye on those clouds!
– **Sigatoka / Coral Coast**: Same story as Navua—there’s sunshine until those thunderstorms arrive!
– **Tavua / Rakiraki**: Sunshine here, too, but don’t be surprised by isolated showers later on!
– **Yasawa / Mamanuca group**: Lovely weather is on the horizon, just a few isolated afternoon showers to watch for.
– **Labasa and Savusavu**: Expect friendly weather until those heavy thunderstorms make an appearance in the evening—keep your raincoat handy!
– **Lau / Lomaiviti**: A little cloudiness with showers and a potential thunderstorm to keep the excitement alive.
– **Kadavu**: Enjoy the sun before some afternoon showers pop up!
– **Rotuma**: It’s a cloudy day with moderate northerly winds and the chance of some thunder—make sure you have your rain dance ready!

Stay safe out there, and remember to take it easy on those tight turns when it gets slippery!
