The 2024 Deans Quarterfinals wrapped up today, featuring the defending champions QVS alongside Nasinu Secondary, Cuvu College, and Ratu Navula College advancing to the U18 semifinals.
In the U14 category, MGM narrowly defeated QVS 18-15, while Marist dominated Ra High School with a 46-0 win. Lelean Memorial School secured a close victory over Ratu Navula College, winning 15-10, and RKS topped Suva Grammar School with a score of 22-12.
In the U15 division, Gospel High School edged out RKS 12-7, QVS triumphed over Natabua High School 15-0, Marist Brothers High School narrowly beat Sigatoka Methodist 17-13, and Suva Grammar School showcased a strong performance against Holy Cross College, winning 36-5.
For the U16 teams, Suva Grammar claimed victory against Ba Provincial with a score of 34-24, Lelean defeated Marist 8-6, RKS won against Ba Methodist 30-8, and QVS overcame Nasinu with a score of 27-12.
In the U17 matches, Marist delivered a decisive win over Dawasamu Secondary School, winning 51-5. QVS narrowly defeated Natabua High School 21-19, RKS dominated Nabua Secondary School 55-19, and Ratu Navula College secured a 20-14 victory against Nasinu.
In the U19 category, RKS triumphed over Lami High School 50-11, QVS defeated Nasikawa Vision College 14-7, Ratu Navula convincingly beat Nasinu 30-7, and Naitasiri Secondary School edged out Navatu Secondary School with a score of 17-13.
