Murder suspect Ratu Peceli Rosotokaicake Rokoravolo has requested additional time from the High Court in Lautoka to formulate his bail application. Representing himself, Mr. Rokoravolo appeared before Justice Aruna Aluthge on Monday to address the serious charge against him, which consists of one count of murder.
This charge stems from the tragic death of Dr. Isireli Biumaitotoya in Nadi last year. During the hearing, Justice Aluthge decided to adjourn the case until February 3, 2024, while remanding Mr. Rokoravolo into custody.
