Seiko Week earlier this month was celebrated with great enthusiasm as PROUDS hosted two elegant cocktail evenings at its Downtown Nadi and Suva Central locations on December 1 and 2, respectively. These exclusive events invited guests to indulge in a sophisticated showcase of SEIKO’s masterful craftsmanship and the brand’s newest arrivals in the Fijian market.

During the celebrations, SEIKO and PROUDS revealed two remarkable Australasian Limited Edition timepieces. The first was the Presage Cocktail Time Australasian Limited Edition, known as “The Conte,” which is limited to just 1,000 pieces worldwide.
The second highlight of the event was the unveiling of the Prospex Australasian Limited Edition dubbed ‘Kame,’ showcasing a daring design inspired by the natural wonders of the Great Barrier Reef and honoring the sea turtle, known as “Kame” in Japanese.
Brett Neill, group sales manager for Seiko Australia in Oceania, introduced the exclusive timepieces, emphasizing that each watch is meticulously assembled by Seiko’s master watchmakers, ensuring the highest quality and detail. “Our limited-edition collections represent the pinnacle of our watchmaking tradition, celebrating innovation and heritage in equal measure,” Neill remarked, expressing pride in offering such unique opportunities to watch lovers.
The ‘Conte’ model draws inspiration from the iconic Negroni cocktail, featuring rich and warm tones alongside a beautifully textured dial, reflecting the artistry of cocktail culture. Meanwhile, the ‘Kame’ watch embodies SEIKO’s commitment to marine conservation, combining superior performance with a conscious environmental design.
