Excitement is mounting as the Vodafone Fiji Secondary School Rugby League national quarter-finals prepare to commence this Saturday at Prince Charles Park in Nadi. In the Western zone, the competition features a total of 19 schools and 32 teams, while the South-East zone will include 29 schools and 46 teams. FSSRL President Naisa Koto hailed this occasion as a celebration of raw talent and the commitment that defines Fiji’s secondary school rugby league. “The journey to the national finals has been extraordinary, with schools from all corners of the nation competing and displaying the best of Fijian rugby league talent,” Koto stated, emphasizing the remarkable achievements of the participating teams.

Vodafone’s sponsorship manager, Adriu Vakarau, expressed his company’s enthusiasm for supporting this prestigious event, highlighting Vodafone’s dedication to grassroots development and youth empowerment in sports. “We believe in the power of sports to shape young lives, foster teamwork, and build a strong sense of discipline and resilience. The national quarter-finals and finals are scheduled to be held at Prince Charles Park in Nadi, with semifinals planned for Garvey Park in Tavua.
