Sports Minister Jese Saukuru recently uplifted the spirits of the Macuata Rugby Union by providing them with new training gear. The team’s excitement was evident as they received the new equipment, but Saukuru’s message extended beyond the physical gifts.
“Sports are more than just games—they’re opportunities,” Saukuru stated. He emphasized that with the right mindset and dedication, rugby can lead to opportunities that reach beyond Fiji’s borders.
“To all our young people, remember that with determination and effort, you can achieve great things. Let’s support each other and keep aiming high,” the minister encouraged.
