Sports Minister Jese Saukuru recently uplifted the spirits of the Macuata Rugby Union by providing new training equipment. The team’s enthusiasm was evident as they accepted the gear, but Saukuru’s message extended beyond the physical items.
“Sports are more than just games—they’re opportunities,” Saukuru stated. He highlighted that with dedication and the right mindset, rugby could lead to opportunities that reach far beyond Fiji.
“To all our young people, remember that with determination and effort, you can achieve great things. Let’s support each other and keep aiming high,” the minister encouraged.
